updates 4

here goes. my long delayed updates.
a long long one.. ...

first up. Father's day.22 June, Sunday

celebrated with my family with in a most simple conventional way. Dinner.
we went to check out airport T3 and had dinner there.
but before we had even started our day on that, a most irritating incident happened.

we had a "quarrel" with a dumb cab driver.
Thats 5 mouths against the cab driver's 1 pathetic mouth!
And he had the cheek to find fault with us.
i told him off nicely at first. but that stubborn old mule doesn't seem to get the point in his head. in the end, i was literally yelling at him.

it started with that we had 5 of us. not all cabs were willing to take 5. but some will cos my little sister is indeed, small.
so came this cab, we boarded then he told us he wasn't willing to take us.
so be it then, we were getting off, before my bro decided he take bus meet us there while we cabbed. so my dad asked if he was still willing to take us since now there's only 4 of us.
but the old mule kept mumbling nono, something like that.
oh well, so be it, we got off and waited for another cab.

However, the stubborn mule seems to be wanting to be looking for trouble. he kept making signs with his hand and stopped his vehicle after like a short distance away. ( which was like 5 steps if walked) and got off the vehicle and started to have a shorting match with my dad.

Dad was so not supposed to get angry and all with his condition. and much less say at someone totally so redundant.
my bro stopped and cooled down my dad while i went and stood right in front of the old mule who doesn't understand the words of getting back in the cab and drive off = nothing will happen.
i got really mad when he started vulgarities and i started yelling in his face.

wonder now how on earth did i had the guts to yell at someone so bloody tall towering over me. hur. which is prolly why i believe in the theory that says the nicest people have the worst tempers. ok.gay. i'm complimenting myself as a very nice person. hur. but i am nice. if u are. heh.
step on my "tail". and totally make me lose it. thats it i tell you. well done. i am not sure what i'll be capable of saying/doing.
whoaaa. haha! i wonder how many people have seen me totally lose it. and was at the receiving end... hmmm... ..

after awhile, he appeared to have got the point and turned back to his cab. so i went to cool my dad down. however, the points haven got to his old stubborn mule head. he turned back and continued the yelling match.
let's see. 2 youngster and one angry dad against 1 stubborn old mule.
who did u think will win?

if it weren't for dad and my little sister all around, i would gladly give him a piece of my mind. however, he wasn't worth my saliva, or any of ours.
i stopped my dad. had to literally hug him to stop him and cool him down.
while my bro took over the job of getting some point to the stubborn old mule's head.
he got back into his cab., however, didn't leave.

i could have blown the matter bigger by just going home and writing a complain letter that night.
first up, using a handphone while driving, he is so going to get his ass fried.
secondly, threatening customers.
thirdly, used vulgarities.
fourthly, didn't back off despite our attempts to just stop the matter and ask him to leave.
ONE complain letter like this. he is so going to get his ASS FRIED TOTALLY.

but i decided he was so not worth my time.
but come to think of it now. i really should have complained. maybe a call as a very dissatisfied customer will do much too. Hur.
nono. he wasn't going to spoil our day.
another cab took us. all 5 of us. =D

and we had thai food at some resturant which i can't remember the name.
the food and service was not bad.
( it had to be. its the airport, it has to have 6* service. lol)

yep. the cab driver totally failed to spoil our day.

(ok. not really, the food was served really fast. haha)

we had a lunch cum dinner. i think it was plus breakfast for me too. lol
went to cafe cartel at marina.

of cos. taking photos are a norm.

sorry. can't help it. with a 5 mp phone around, cam whoring is a must. hur.

we ordered set meals. had the same soup. yum~
and oh. i didn't know bread was free flow. hur.
(okay. i admit. my first time at cafe cartel.lol)

after the yummmy meal, off we went shopping~
( ty was the one who wanted to shop, but in the end, i think i got more stuff then she did. heh)

i am one very happy shopper for the day! =D
part of my sprees.. ..

my splurge for the day. i have never bought some skin care product at this kind of price!
but it was damm worth. cos its damm good.
you can really feel the difference and can be used as make up base or for day and night moisturizer use.
bought from make up store. their products are pretty good from the make up lesson i tried =)
bought this cos gt intrigued by it since that day. cost 85 bucks. i was given a 10% off voucher so i bought this at 76 buckaroos. weet.

4 July 2008 (Friday)
had dinner with colleagues. the assist. sales manager treat. well. he got promoted ma. lol.
ate at VIENNA- buffet. at united square
(oh. i think it wasn't cheap too. esp since there was like i think 17 of us. )
lobsters, crabs, eel, oysters, desserts, so many more. yum~
eat daooooo... super full !
no camera. ( i think it'll be weird if i pop a camera out and my colleagues would be looking at me wide eyed. aunties and uncles age ma.i shy. hur. but the food and surrounding scenery was nicee larr!)

to make up for that. i shall do some promo bout that place.
cos its good man. heh.
and u really need to book in advance for seats!
not as in the day itself u wish to go, as in days in advance!
it is that good.

met up with karthi for lunchie. and shopped with gale after. heh.
haven met up with this dude of mine for ages.
looking forward to the next meetup =)
but when catching up, telling of the past happenings, i felt kinda upset hearing it. but all's good to know he picked himself up and is doing good. =)
somehow, he renewed the part of me that had gone missing, hidden away, or got lost.
hearing all of it reminds me how fragile life is.
just like what happened to dad.
the feelings are indescribable.
and i shall leave it as it is here.
